Student welfare
DEAMS works for the welfare of the people who study and work within it.
The department has activated several initiatives exclusively designed for its students.
The student welfare tutor
The Student Wellness Tutor is a student who offers to listen to any student who feels like or needs to talk to someone, or is experiencing difficulties in the course of study (e.g., relating to psychological well-being, college life, or study method). Any exchange will remain confidential.

CUS – University Sports Center of Trieste – organizes a series of sports activities for students and staff. Find more information HERE.
Within the campus, there is a cafeteria for students. More information about the cafeteria and the bookAmeal app can be found on theArdis website.
Ardis also allocates scholarships aimed at supporting the right to study and organizes events dedicated to student welfare. More information can be found HERE.
The Student Council consists of student representatives and is a liaison body between the teaching staff, the university and students. More information about the members and their activities can be found here.

The areas dedicated to students
There are several areas exclusively for students, including:
– A relaxation room equipped with ottomans and refreshment area (e.g., tables, microwave oven) in the basement (Building D)
– sea view study room on the fifth floor (Building D), where there are also blackboards and photocopiers for student use.
