Every two years, DEAMS students elect their representatives to propose and advocate their issues to the Department Council, of which they are members. The method of election and term of office are defined in the appropriate University Regulations.

What are the functions of the representatives?
The functions performed by the Representatives are:
- Coordinate teaching and study activities to achieve the educational objectives set forth in the educational regulations, taking into account the guidelines set by the Department;
- Serve as an intermediary between professional figures and students;
- To formulate proposals and opinions regarding the University’s teaching regulations;
- Be available in listening to the student, both academically and otherwise.
